B&B Workshops in Brazil, Germany & Japan

Already in the first half of the year, there have been three B&B Workshops. They have served as a forum for member companies to exchange information and gain new insight in the field of Business and Biodiversity. 

Starting early in the year, on February 26, the Brazilian B&B member companies met together at Grupo Orsa in Alphaville/Sao Paulo. Shortly thereafter on March 9 and 10, Volkswagen AG hosted the fifth German B&B workshop in Wolfsburg. A week later on March 16, Mori Building in Tokyo entertained the Japanese Business and Biodiversity member companies.

The meetings offer participants an excellent arena to openly communicate about experiences and network. At the workshops, B&B members reported on their experiences implementing biodiversity management practices. With regard to the coming CoP10, joint activities and concepts were developed. Additionally, the agenda for the coming SusCon 2010 was introduced. SusCon 2010 - International conference on Sustainable Business  and Consumption, will take place on June 15 and 16 in Nuremberg, Germany. The Business and Biodiversity Initiative 'Biodiversity in Good Company' is a co-organiser of this event.
