We support companies committed to biodiversity and show how and why their commitment is worth. The higher the role of biodiversity in economy and society becomes, the more economically beneficial nature positive business models can become.

As an active network, we advocate for the recognition of biodiversity as a key sustainability asset for businesses, ensuring that our members, as pioneers, have a voice in policymaking. We also enhance the visibility of companies committed to sustainable practices.

As co-organizer of the UBi Supportung Committee (UBi-Unterstützerkreises), we facilitate dialogue with major business associations and environmental organsiations.

Furthermore, we advocate for fair competition conditions that reward companies operating within planetary boundaries. We support efforts to replace biodiversity-harmful subsidies with nature-positive approaches.

A sustainable use of natural resources and the protection of ecosystems secure raw materials on long terms, prevent supply shortages and ensure stable productions.

Biodiversity management helps companies to address other environmental issues, such as climate change and water consumption, in a holistic way. Such measures enable a better risk management along supply chains – an aspect particularly attractive for investors.

Economical benefits are clear: companies prioritizing biodiversity can better preparefor future regulatory requirements, collaborate more effectively with key partners and maintain their competitive edge. Additionally, a strong sustainability image enhances corporate reputation and can lead to long-term revenue growth.

There are many success stories from our members who have a business advantage by integrating biodiversity in their sustainability management. Inspirational flagship projects from pioneering companies demonstrate how biodiversity management can create new business opportunities while contributing to a sustainable future.
