Corporate responsibility and biodiversity specialists from around the world convene in Helsinki, Finland, to exchange knowledge on companies´ latest practices on business and biodiversity. This two-day event gathers around 250 participants globally. The CBD Business & Biodiversity Forum 2015 “Practices, Solutions and the Way Forward” will be held on 11–12 November, at Finlandia Hall, Helsinki, Finland.

The event offers various examples of companies’ solutions from the agriculture, forestry, mining and oil industries. In addition, financing mechanisms for biodiversity will be discussed, along with the role of biodiversity in supply chain management.

The Finnish Ministry of the Environment is organising the conference in cooperation with Finland’s leading corporate responsibility network FIBS and the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
