On 11th February a High-level Roundtable on the EU Biodiversity Actionplan took place in Brussels. The panel was staffed with experts representing governments, businesses and NGOs. Mr Endrukatis attended as the coordinator of the B&B initiative. Central outcome was that single individual governments have made progress in certain sectors, but that the EU is very unlikely to achieve the 2010 target of stopping biodiversity decline.
