Dort werden die Bezüge der <link https: sustainabledevelopment.un.org content documents _blank external-link-new-window external link in new>2030 Agenda für nachhaltige Entwicklung zu Biodiversität und gesunden Ökosystemen zusammengefasst. Die Verbindungsgruppe erhofft sich neues Momentum für die Ziele der sieben Konventionen, die sich speziell auf biologische Vielfalt und Ökosysteme beziehen: "The implementation phase of the Sustainable Development Goals will provide a tremendous opportunity to mainstream biodiversity and its values into key national priorities and to achieve the objectives of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 and its Aichi Biodiversity Targets".
